4.6.17. When explosives in bulk are loaded, a semiconductor loading hose must be used and the loading equipment must be grounded according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

4.6.17. When any type of electric blasting cap is used, the primer cartridge must be inserted only once the pneumatic loading of the ammonium nitrate and fuel oil mixtures has been completed. The foregoing requirement may be waived where an antistatic pipe is used and the loading equipment is grounded.
